2024 Archery Tip of the Week #2

It is important to ensure you have consistent nock alignment across all of your arrows. Nock alignment refers to the uniform positioning of the nock (the rear part of the arrow) in relation to the bowstring. When arrows share identical nock alignment, it promotes a consistent release, flight, and impact point. As you can see in the first picture, each nock is aligned differently. Inconsistent nock alignment can lead to erratic arrow flight and larger groups. By taking the time to align each arrow the same, you increase your chances of success.
