Archery Tip of the Week 7

Your anchor point is one of the most important aspects of form. Often overlooked, a good anchor point will be both efficient and repeatable. It is important to have three points of reference in your anchor. Chances are if you cannot name three, your anchor is not as repeatable as it can be. Common points of reference include touching the string to your nose, pointer finger in the corner of your mouth, pointer finger under jaw, hand locked behind your jaw, arrow vane on nose, and arrow vane in the corner of your mouth. While it is important to note that not all of these points will work together, figure out what works best for you and do the same thing every time.
